Somerset,
NJ - June 21, 2007. The Spaulding Group, Inc. (TSG) released the detailed
results of their 2007 performance attribution survey. The survey addressed
all aspects of attribution, including approaches, preferences, and
systems. Five firms cosponsored this research effort: Eagle Investment
Systems, Ortec, Wilshire Analytics, Thomson and SS&C Technologies.
"We
delved a little deeper with this version of the survey and were pleased
with the participation we received," said TSG's president, David
Spaulding. "Since this is the third time we are addressing this
issue, we are able to clearly see some trends."
The
survey reflects the responses from 110 participants and breaks them
down geographically and also compares them to the previous two surveys
(2002 and 2004). Survey luncheons were held in London and New York
on June 12th and June 22nd respectively to report on the results.
TSG
has surveyed the industry on a regular basis since 1993. Last year,
TSG focused on performance technology, with a survey to the users,
followed by one to the vendors; both are highlighted in the current
supplement to The Journal of Performance Measurement®.
