THE SPAULDING GROUP HOST'S THE NORTH AMERICAN SPRING
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT FORUM IN BOSTON

Somerset, NJ –– June, 2002. The Spaulding Group, Inc. (TSG) held it's 13th Performance Measurement Forum in Boston on May 16-17, 2002 at the Sheraton Boston on 39 Dalton Street.

The forum was conducted over a day and a half and included topics on Performance Attribution, A Consultants Perspective, Performance Technology, SEC Issues, Benchmarks, AIMR-PPS® and GIPS® and a discussion on Wrap Fees. Guest facilitators included: William Bogle of New England Pension Consultants, Tim Simons of Ashland Accounting, Brendan Beith of FT Interactive Data, Jessica Mann of the Association for Investment Management and Research and Donna Glass of Deloitte & Touche. Bruce Feibel of Eagle Investment Systems provided the keynote address on "Risk Measurement in Performance Measurement."

Over 27 member firms were in attendance. "This was a very successful meeting, we were very pleased that so many of our members were able to attend." said Patrick Fowler, Vice President of The Spaulding Group. "The Agenda was packed with timely subjects and expert facilitators; this was our most successful event to date." The Spaulding Group will host three more meetings this year: June 12-13 in Oslo, Norway; November 13-14 in Vienna, Austria and November 18-19 in Chicago, IL. The Performance Measurement Forum is an interactive membership group that meets four times a year to discuss and debate topics of interest to the group and to the investment community.
