Somerset, NJ - August 3, 1999. The Spaulding Group, Inc. will globalize its already successful North American-based Performance Measurement Forum with the introduction of two new chapters: Europe and Australia/Asia. The European Chapter will hold its first meeting on Thursday, October 21 at the Hotel Intercontinental Princess Sofia in Barcelona, Spain. The Australia/Asia Chapter is planned for 2000.

David Spaulding, TSG's president, stated "going global with the Performance Measurement Forum makes sense, especially given the introduction of the Global Investment Performance Standards. The North American chapter attracted several European members, so its fitting that we create a chapter to better serve that region. Performance measurement professionals need a platform to exchange ideas and views, the Performance Measurement Forum provides it."

This members-only group provides an interactive educational and information sharing experience for investment professionals who are involved with performance measurement. Another mission of the Forum is to afford its members a voice with vendors, regulators, and industry groups such as the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR). The Forum will communicate ideas and recommendations for standards throughout the global investment industry.

To date, the North American chapter has held two meetings: New York City in December of last year and Boston this past May. The San Francisco meeting is scheduled for November 10th.
